CONSCIOUS RENEWING

Conscious renewing brings us equanimity in the midst of everyday hustle and keeps us (if necessary, redirects us) on our own unique path while connected to others and everything alive. By surrendering to the guidance of nature, several emotions will arise. These emotions work as messages of what to focus on within inner work, whilst foraging. When we start to process these emotions by fully accepting them, we can let go of what we need to. This might take some time, but once achieved, everything will fall into place.

After this step, joy, gratitude and inspiration starts to flow and everything in life can be received as a gift. Foraging at its best can enhance the quality of our lives to their full potential. The concept of 'infinite wisdom' is encoded within edible plants and mushrooms.

This activation of inner wisdom happens gradually - through wandering in wild nature, doing inner work while foraging, and actually eating these ordinary yet extraordinary wild plants. The full power of this experience engages multiple senses, relaxes the nervous system, creates feelings of belonging and trust, and even works through our microbiome. Soon after, we begin to appreciate the holistic beauty and healing qualities of nature, recognizing that we humans are an inalienable part of it.

To fully understand this process, repeated practice is needed. This allows us to calibrate ourselves to the annual cosmic cycle and integrate all we experience - without comparison.

By embracing this inner journey through foraging from April to September (six months of each year), we learn to see beauty in everything around us, and discover how to feel love in all things.
