In March 2024, Tallberg appeared on the BBC’s multicultural series World’s Table, sharing his philosophy on foraging and his passion for wild mushrooms. He compared mushrooms to the finest gourmet treasures, equally characterful and delish as any seafood and game birds, highlighting their unique aromas, flavors, textures, and umami content. Tallberg encouraged viewers to rethink their relationship with nature, advocating for greater unity with it. He also emphasised the importance of Finland’s everyone’s rights, which allow everyone – regardless of age, nationality, or social status – to roam freely and collect and enjoy edible wild ingredients.
